Cognink ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those services.
Course data: Your study progress, quiz scores, and flashcard review history are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly sync it.
Course requests: When you request a custom course, we store the topic, audience level, and any materials you provide.
Usage data: We do not collect analytics, tracking data, or usage statistics.
Account data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on infrastructure in the United States. Study progress and course content are stored locally on your device using SQLite.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with service providers necessary to operate the app (as listed above).
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. Local study data can be cleared from the app's Settings screen.
Cognink is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
